Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead a production team on a 7a-3p shift, aligning safety, quality, and throughput with Lean initiatives. You will set work direction, coach hourly staff, and drive continuous improvement across the plant floor.

You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong employee relations while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet daily objectives and sustain high-quality products for customers.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of production management/supervision experience.
• Strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product.
• Ensures safety and sanitation rules and principles are followed to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Company regulatory requirements.
• Maintains positive employee relations, including training of hourly personnel.
• Tracks performance and attendance to ensure metrics are met and issues resolved.
• Uses metrics/data to evaluate and improve processes and maintain documentation.
• Collaborates with other supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations.
