Job summary

Abacus Solutions Group is seeking an Operations Manager for a large, growing apparel brand in the Southaven area. This is a temporary to permanent position starting ASAP, with compensation of $90k - $95k.

You will lead the Fulfillment Operations Group, oversee inventory and production flow, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly / HS Degree or GED required.
• Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma or Six Sigma certification.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive Operations experience in a manager role.
• Experience leading up to 100 associates.
• Experience delivering productivity improvements through continuous improvement.
• Ability to be flexible, collaborative, and drive performance.
• Data analysis to identify defects and root causes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Fulfillment Operations Group in order processing, quality, inventory, purchasing, cost management, process layouts and training.
• Collaborate with Site Director to influence strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations at all levels.
• Maintain safety culture and regulatory compliance within the facility.
• Set and achieve productivity and quality KPIs across the value stream.
• Oversee training and development of facility managers and supervisors.
