Job summary

Actalent in Arlington, TX is seeking a Production Manager for Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations. You will lead end-to-end production, configuration, and inventory flow, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance with Lean and data-driven methods.

The role partners with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to reduce variation, improve FPY and OTIF, and build scalable, high-performing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, mathematics, or related field.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Strong analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making.
Experience applying lean manufacturing and process improvement.
Experience leading production and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end production and configuration operations ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people targets.
Establish and manage KPIs: efficiency, FPY, DPU, OTIF, inventory turns, labor utilization.
Ensure data integrity and daily visibility of operational performance data.
Conduct time studies and labor standards validation to improve productivity.
Redesign layouts and material flow to support scalable growth.
Align operations to takt time and demand signals, minimize waste.
Lead root-cause analyses using 5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC, 8D.
Develop production schedules and labor plans aligned with demand.
Drive continuous improvement focused on throughput and cost reduction.
Partner with Materials, Quality, and Engineering to optimize flow.
