Job summary

Medline's Arlington Heights facility is seeking a Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operation and drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor staff to build a capable, high-performing production environment.

You will oversee daily output, implement manufacturing strategies, manage safety programs, and align with the Director of Operations on lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years manufacturing and supply chain experience.
• Proficiency with AS400, SAP, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure minimal downtime and quality output.
• Lead plant-wide activities coordinating with leadership, sales, engineering, procurement, production, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and quality.
• Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean initiatives and establish KPIs to track progress.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and document training procedures and root-cause analyses.
