Scientific Safety Alliance in Baltic, SD seeks a hands-on Lean Operations Manager to lead day-to-day service operations, optimize scheduling, and ensure high-quality delivery for life sciences customers.

You will manage local Customer Success, Lab & Field Technician teams, drive operational efficiency, and shape scalable processes while aligning with regulatory QA standards. Ownership equity awaits a high-impact leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of lean operations experience in manufacturing, life sciences, cleanroom, HVAC, or technical field service.
• Experience using lean tools such as Kaizen, DMAIC, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.
• Process-oriented mindset with experience implementing systems or automation tools (CRM, ERP, or scheduling software).
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Data-driven approach to analyze customer data and turn insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service operations across scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation.
• Own customer relationships as escalation point to maximize service value.
• P&L opportunities and revenue growth.
• Coordinate onboarding from sales and deployments.
• Leverage data trends to drive retention and improve experience.
• Refine playbooks and automation to scale engagement.
• Monitor field performance: productivity and service quality.
• Bridge communication between field techs, customer success, and clients.
• Document and improve SOPs and implement automation where possible.
• Support capacity planning and hiring forecasts.
• Ensure compliance and QA with documentation and calibration.
• Track metrics like on-time completion, utilization, and NPS.
• Drive loyalty and collect positive customer feedback.
