Job summary

Adept Life Sciences, Inc in Chandler, AZ seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead both the operations and production sides of manufacturing, ensuring safe, efficient, on-schedule, high-quality output. Qualifications

• Five+ years of manufacturing experience with at least three years in a production supervisory or management role.
• Proven track record implementing Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous-improvement programs with measurable results.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma methods, root-cause analysis, statistical process control, and CAPA.
• Experience building capacity plans, budgets, and business cases.
• Ability to hire, train, lead, and develop multi-shift manufacturing teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out short- and long-term production strategy, aligning capacity, staffing, equipment, and capital investments with growth plans.
• Lead annual operating plans, production budgets, capacity models, and present recommendations to executives.
• Set departmental goals and KPIs and cascade targets to supervisors and teams.
• Plan, schedule, and direct daily manufacturing and packaging operations to meet orders and commitments.
• Translate master production schedule into shift-level plans and balance labor and capacity.
• Lead Lean, 5S, DMAIC projects, kaizen events, and daily tiered huddles to drive improvements.
• Oversee hiring for the manufacturing department in partnership with HR.
• Ensure GMP compliance, quality systems, and regulatory readiness; maintain audit readiness.
• Manage budget and identify cost-saving opportunities in yield, labor, and process efficiency.
