Job summary

PAC Group is seeking a Material Handling Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing client projects. You will optimize material flow from warehouse to lineside with lean principles and partner with IT to deploy eKanban and replenishment systems.

You will maintain efficient layouts, lead pull systems with balanced inventories, and manage equipment from procurement through deployment, including forklifts, tuggers, AGVs/AGCs, and automation solutions. Collaboration across functions is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of material flow and lean manufacturing.
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support material flow from warehouse to point of use using lean principles.
• Review and implement lineside replenishment systems such as eKanban with IT.
• Maintain layouts to optimize space in warehouse and production areas.
• Lead pull systems with balanced inventory at each use point.
• Manage material handling equipment from procurement to deployment (forklifts, tuggers, AGVs/AGCs, carts, racks).
