Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Materials And Process Engineer (Material Flow) to optimize material movement in a high-volume automotive setting at our Fort Wayne client site. You will drive lean principles and cross-functional collaboration from warehouse to point of use.

The role requires hands-on implementation, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, and experience managing material handling systems. Onsite in Fort Wayne offers growth and exposure to industry-leading projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
3+ years experience in material flow, logistics, or industrial engineering in automotive/manufacturing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and optimization of material flow from warehouse to use.
Review and implement lineside replenishment systems and automate material calls with IT.
Maintain material handling layouts to optimize space.
Lead pull systems with balanced inventory at each point of use.
Manage material handling equipment from procurement through deployment.
