Job summary

Dometic in Stuart/Port St Lucie, FL seeks an Assembly professional to read drawings and build electronic units in a Lean environment. You will use CAD-guided instructions, operate test equipment, and document actions in the ERP system.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Experience with hand tools and basic math is required.

Qualifications

• Solid assembly/manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings and prints
• Proficiency with test equipment and quality forms
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles
• Willingness to perform overtime, weekends as required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and prints
• Assemble parts per instructions and test units
• Operate test equipment and document actions in ERP
• Maintain safety, quality, and 5S in the workspace
• Identify and record product/process quality issues
• Assist in preventive maintenance and notify supervisors of major issues
• Resolve minor assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to spec
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
