Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager based in San Antonio, TX to lead lean-driven supply chain programs. This role reports to the VP of Supply Chain and emphasizes cost reduction, on-time delivery, and process optimization in a fully on-site environment.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, capacity management, supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and quality across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in supply chain management within manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools (Infor, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supply chain programs for cost effectiveness and quality.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and capacity management with continuous improvement.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing across supply chain processes including Kanban.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and engineering.
• Develop supplier relationships and manage risks to ensure continuity.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory, and materials flow to optimize stock.
• Monitor long lead times and align with production schedules.
• Participate in value stream mapping to improve material flow.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
