GenScript USA Inc. in Piscataway, New Jersey, is seeking a Production Supervisor (Lean) to oversee the manufacturing floor and a team of 10–12 technicians. You will drive daily execution, maintain high morale, and apply Lean methodologies to optimize processes across the lab operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, floor management, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Salary is $80,000–$100,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IE/Mechanical/Biology/Life Sciences or related fields.
• Lean production certification; Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Experience leading cross-department lean improvement projects (5S, TPM, VSM, SMED, standardized work).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily molecular biology production lines and ensure safety and quality targets.
• Lead a on-site team of 10–12 technicians and floor specialists.
• Drive lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and factory management.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development for floor staff.
