Job summary

GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. seeks a results-driven Production Supervisor (Lean) to oversee the manufacturing floor and manage a dedicated team of 10–12 technicians, driving daily execution while fostering a high-retention, supportive culture focused on Lean gains.

The role emphasizes lean management, continuous improvement, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to sustain ISO/GMP compliance, reduce waste, and improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IE/Engineering or Life Sciences and related fields.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above preferred).
• Experience leading cross-department lean improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, TPM, VSM).

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a 10–12 person production team on the floor.
• Maintain a high-retention, engaging workplace culture and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee daily molecular biology production lines ensuring safety and ISO/GMP quality.
• Lead lean initiatives on the floor using 5S, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis.
