Job summary

IFA North America in Summerville, SC seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a large manufacturing team in a high-volume plant. You will drive Lean Manufacturing principles, manage daily production plans, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will develop associates, coach performance, conduct appraisals, and participate in continuous improvement programs such as Kaizen events. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 and/or ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops a production/manpower plan based on forecasts and lean practices.
• Ensures training and development of associates to achieve goals and safety.
• Coach, discipline, and review employees per company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve production methods and quality within budget.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and management to meet company goals.
