Job summary

Alkegen is seeking an experienced shift supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in a Georgia facility. You will direct hourly staff, align production with schedules, and drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and safety.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication and math skills, and a proactive, metrics-driven mindset. Experience with Excel and BPCS is a plus; OSHA training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in area of specialty.
• Five (5) or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing is a plus and 30-hour OSHA safety course is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work to continuously improve quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
• Manage departmental performance measures and provide regular progress reports to manager.
• Verify the production schedule to machine efficiency.
• Direct and supply manpower for each shift.
• Fill overtime and monitor process and quality during the shift.
• Verify inventory and make corrections when needed.
• Write work orders and review maintenance items needed for daily production.
• Develop and communicate shift production plans through the DSC.
• Maintain yearly goals and objectives.
• Ensure all employees are working safely.
