Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, managing manpower and payroll, supervising inventory and maintenance, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment. Associates degree plus 5+ years in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work to continuously improve quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale.
• Manage departmental performance measures and provide progress reports.
• Verify production schedules against machine efficiency.
• Direct and supply manpower for each shift and manage overtime.
• Monitor process and quality during shifts.
• Verify inventory and perform corrections.
• Write work orders and review maintenance needs.
• Develop and communicate shift production plans.
• Maintain yearly goals and objectives.
• Ensure safe working conditions and participate in safety inspections.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Handle hourly payroll including vacation approvals.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
