Qualifications

• High school degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and production planning/reporting software.
• Progressive leadership and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach front-line union plant operators to meet schedules.
• Direct the production workforce for shift toward productivity and quality objectives.
• Report production, material and manpower usage accurately daily.
• Maintain product integrity by enforcing specs and process controls.
• Promote teamwork and involve employees in decision making.
• Assign daily tasks, train staff for safety and efficiency.
• Recommend equipment/process improvements to increase productivity.
• Share information at regular meetings and address action items.
• Prepare the facility for weekly shutdowns and ensure readiness.
