Job summary

Alkegen seeks a Manufacturing Operator I to set up and run shop floor machinery, including presses and CDCH coating lines, while meeting quality and safety standards. You’ll manage material changes, maintain production flow, and complete required paperwork to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math, and strong communication. Manufacturing experience is a plus, with Excel and BPCS familiarity beneficial for data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over production machinery, including die set-up and material changes.
• Maintain continuous operation of machinery to minimize downtime.
• Operate presses and CDCH coating lines, including prep, coating, sheet separation, and deframing of gaskets; maintain required rates.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to uphold quality standards.
• Stock each machine with material throughout the shift.
• Assist tooling personnel with die issues and maintenance tasks.
• Provide light maintenance on machines or dies (oil and grease).
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and on time.
• Assist in housekeeping and adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
