Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. seeks a Production Superintendent for the Chattanooga, TN foundry to lead lean initiatives and ensure safety and schedule compliance.

You will drive improvements, coordinate with engineering and operations, and guide the kaizen process while coaching supervisors and operators. The role requires an engineering degree and 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a union setting, with strong leadership, problem solving, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or other appropriate field.
• Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing operations experience in a high-volume environment with a Union workforce.
• Professional PC literacy in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead and execute strategy to meet financial and operational targets.
• Develop and administer processes for successful schedule compliance.
• Promote lean transformation and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop talent within the department and write kaizen event charters.
