Job summary

STRATTEC Security Corporation in Milwaukee is seeking a Production Manager to lead the daily operations of a manufacturing department. You will be responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and production across three shifts, driving lean improvements and fostering a culture of accountability.

The ideal candidate will have significant supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong Kaizen and 5S experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Strattec software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading Kaizen and 5s implementations.
• Familiarity with adhering and maintaining quality systems (TS experience preferred).
• Production Manager will be required to utilize Microsoft Office products as well as other Strattec-specific software programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, quality, personnel, assets, inventory, scheduling, KPIs and production of all products originating in that department.
• Oversee three shifts and ensure standard work requirements are met.
• Drive cost reductions and lean initiatives through Kaizen and 5S.
• Coach and develop leadership and frontline teams to meet goals.
• Maintain department readiness for audits and continuous improvement.
