Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive lean manufacturing and operational excellence across the plant. You will guide waste elimination, standardized work, visual management, and disciplined problem-solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and costs.

You'll work with leaders and cross-functional teams to align kaizen activity with regional deployment, sustain standard work, and coach employees on lean concepts, tools, and methodologies, including 5S, SMED,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or 4+ years of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience.
• Experience applying lean principles including waste reduction, 5S, visual management, standard work, and problem-solving.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, influencing change, and data-driven communication in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute short- and long-term continuous improvement objectives for lean manufacturing and operational excellence goals.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and process variation.
• Support implementation of lean systems to improve flow, reduce non-value-added activity, and increase efficiency.
