Job summary

PlayAGS, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, optimize, standardize, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement practical improvements using Lean methodologies. The role involves supporting new product releases, refining existing processes, and maintaining comprehensive process documentation and CAD/BOMs for vendors.

Qualifications

• Lean methodologies applied to process improvements and waste reduction.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CAD tools for product and process documentation.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products or improvements.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis to address deviations or non-conformances.
• Create or validate assembly drawings, CAD packages, and BOMs for new product releases to vendors.
• Maintain documentation of processes, SOPs, work instructions, and process specifications.
