Job summary

Anduril Industries in Columbus, OH seeks a Manufacturing Optimization Manager to drive lean transformation across our US sites. You will implement structured problem solving, lead front-line teams, and build scalable systems for safety, quality and throughput.

You will work with senior leaders to deploy standard work, mentor supervisors, and deliver measurable performance improvements in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing and production operations.
• 2+ years in a supervisor or production operations lead role.
• Understanding of the product life cycle and LEAN principles.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong, reliable, organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication.
• Experience coaching and developing frontline staff.
• Experience with process development and change management.
• Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish a scalable operating system aligned to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Strengthen cross-functional execution by integrating Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Test.
• Standardize processes to reduce variation and enable staffing models.
• Drive continuous improvement using structured problem solving and kaizen.
• Lead rapid triage on constraints and escalations across facilities.
• Coach and develop Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders through daily Gemba and standard work.
• Capture and deploy best practices via playbooks and replication mechanisms.
• Develop dashboards and visibility tools to improve decision speed.
