Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture is seeking an Operations Manager to drive business transformation by streamlining manufacturing operations and deploying Lean Management Systems. You will lead tool development, methods, and processes to support growth and efficiency.

The role requires overseeing daily production, leading lean initiatives, coaching teams in 5S and waste elimination, and partnering across departments to hit OKRs and improve lead times, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive operational leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience in furniture manufacturing preferred; knowledge of lean and six sigma.
• 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to meet manufacturing goals.
• Lead lean initiatives to improve operational effectiveness (quality, lead-time, customer satisfaction).
• Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to generate tangible savings.
• Provide leadership for large employee populations across non-exempt and exempt roles.
• Coach teams on Lean Thinking, 5S, and waste elimination approaches.
• Collaborate with peers to set goals and metrics; monitor progress.
