Job summary

You will conduct time studies, line-balancing, and cost-benefit analyses; collaborate with Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing; review drawings and BOMs for new-product introductions;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of industrial engineering or manufacturing-process improvement experience.
• Experience in electrical manufacturing, modular construction, electrical prefabrication, switchgear, control panels, or skid-mounted equipment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar continuous-improvement certification

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize facility layouts, production cells, assembly lines, storage areas, and material-flow paths.
• Analyze production processes, workflows, labor requirements, and material movement to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time studies, work sampling, line-balancing analysis, and process observations.
• Support manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies, modular electrical systems, panel skids, switchgear components, conduit assemblies, and related products.
• Develop value-stream maps and recommend improvements that reduce waste, travel distance, handling, waiting time, and work-in-process inventory.
• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives, including 5S/6S, visual management, Kaizen events, root-cause analysis, and mistake-proofing.
