Job summary

CEC Facilities, LLC in Texas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to develop and implement IMS manufacturing processes, optimize material flow, labor productivity, and facility utilization for electrical assemblies, modular systems, and related products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline required.
3+ years of industrial engineering or manufacturing-process improvement experience.
Experience in electrical manufacturing, modular construction, electrical prefabrication, switchgear, control panels, or skid-mounted equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize facility layouts, production cells, assembly lines, storage areas, and material-flow paths.
Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives (5S/6S, visual management, Kaizen events, root-cause analysis).
Support capital-equipment justification via cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations.
Collaborate with Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing to improve yield, material presentation, and inventory programs.
Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, flow diagrams, and training materials.
