Harco Fittings in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Manufacturing Excellence Leader to drive operational excellence and lean initiatives across the plant. You will lead 5S and continuous improvement programs, develop KPIs, and coordinate with departments on reporting and handovers.

The role requires 3+ years in transformation projects, a technical degree (Industrial Engineering preferred), and strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site, full-time with a focus on safety and quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or another related technical field.
• Project Management Certificate is an asset.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification is an asset.
• A minimum of 3 years experience leading projects of operation transformation, with focus on continuous improvement projects and demonstrated process improvement success.
• Computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead operational excellence initiatives and lean transformation projects across the plant.
• Develop KPIs and systems for communicating manufacturing performance with all levels of the plant.
• Collaborate with each department manager to develop information sharing and reporting for the shift handover process.
• Develop and then lead the daily management reviews and the weekly/monthly management reviews.
• Lead the new product introduction process within the plant, coordinating with internal and external functions.
• Support day-to-day plant operations with problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and liaise with leadership to achieve objectives.
