Job summary
BraunAbility is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and improve production processes from prototype through end of life. You will drive Lean initiatives, optimize layouts, and ensure ERP routing accuracy.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You will analyze data, implement corrective actions, and perform ROI assessments on capital equipment while supporting staff with technical training and problem
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience in assembly or fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and product development processes.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and quality.
- Apply lean principles to reduce waste and optimize workflow.
- Own ERP routing details for cost and quality accuracy.
- Perform ROI analyses on capital equipment and make/buy decisions.
- Provide training and technical support to production staff.
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Design layouts for processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.
