Job summary

Airline-Hydraulics-Corporation- is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations through process development, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and repeatability.

This is a fully onsite role in Bristol, PA with occasional travel to other facilities. Responsibilities include time studies, process mapping, developing standard procedures, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field is required.
  • 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
  • Experience with time studies, process mapping, root-cause analysis and Kaizen events.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform time studies, labor analysis, and process evaluations to establish labor standards and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, assembly standards, and SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain labor routings, manufacturing methods, and production standards for estimating and scheduling.
  • Analyze shop floor layouts, material flow, and production processes to improve throughput and ergonomics.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles including 5S and root cause analysis.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues related to quality, safety, tooling, equipment, and assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability and cost, and support new product introductions.
