Job summary

GE Vernova’s Longmont, Colorado supply chain internship offers hands-on experience developing and improving manufacturing and supply chain processes with lean techniques. You will contribute to data-driven decisions and support projects aimed at safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a collaborative environment.

You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer, or Supply Chain), be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering or related field.
• U.S. citizen required.
• Ability to work on-site in Longmont, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish standard work procedures.
• Collect and analyze data to aid in data-driven decision making.
• Execute Lean 5S activities in the manufacturing shop.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, materials team members, and manufacturing engineers on safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
• Support engineering and facilities with installation and project management of new equipment.
