Job summary

Balanced Body is seeking a hands-on Crew Leader to guide and mentor a production team on the shop floor. You will drive daily, weekly and monthly goals, ensure the team has training and resources, and conduct continuous improvements with a Lean mindset to deliver high-quality Pilates equipment.

You will lead in a fast-paced environment, manage inventories, coordinate with supervision and HR, and ensure safety compliance while fostering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Experience applying Lean and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system (Business Central "BC") requirements and ensure team accomplishes daily production planning.
• Participate in daily production cell activities.
• Maintain inventory in assigned departments and conduct regular audits.
• Facilitate inventory audits with department supervisors.
• Provide support with processing orders with purchasing department.
• Train new employees.
• Coach, mentor and provide leadership to employees; drive growth and performance.
• Maintain safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings/trainings.
• Manage tools maintenance and safety protocols on the production floor.
• Adapt to production changes and guide the team accordingly.
• Initiate improvements to production performance without compromising quality.
• Participate in interviewing, evaluating and recommending candidates.
• Promote a positive environment and team morale.
