Job summary

Balanced Body is seeking a hands-on Crew Leader to direct a production crew, drive Lean manufacturing practices, and mentor team members on the production floor. You will work closely with supervision to set daily goals, ensure safety, manage inventories, and train staff while promoting continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to production changes and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a production crew to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed on the production floor.
• Manage inventory in assigned departments and coordinate with supervisors for audits.
• Provide training and development to new employees and offer performance feedback.
• Participate in interviewing, evaluating and recommending candidates.
• Foster a positive environment and mentor team members for growth.
