Job summary

Balanced Body, a leading Pilates equipment designer and manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Assistant Supervisor to support daily leadership of the department. You will work with the Supervisor, crew leaders and Director to meet goals, ensuring training, tools and resources are available for the team.

The role emphasizes production quality, equipment maintenance, inventory readiness and a safe work environment, with a day shift schedule Monday to Friday, 5AM to 1:30PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 2 years providing leadership.
• CNC experience is preferred on vinyl, wood or metal products.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with production scheduling, planning and/or inventory is highly preferred.
• Experience with receiving and sending parts is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for line planning daily, weekly and long-term.
• Responsible for the production quality of the department and inspection of incoming/outgoing product.
• Able to maintain equipment in good operational order by following operating instructions and established procedures.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
• Keep supplies ready by checking stock, anticipating needs and placing/expediting orders.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following our standards and policies, and legal regulations.
