Job summary

Balanced Body is seeking a hands-on Crew Leader to direct and mentor a production team in our California facility. You will set daily, weekly, and monthly goals with supervisors and ensure teams have training, tools, and resources to meet production targets while maintaining Lean practices.

The role requires promoting a positive environment, coaching for growth, and enforcing safety and quality on the production line. Expect two schedules, with overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coach and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BC (Business Central) requirements and ensure daily production planning is completed accurately.
• Participate in daily production cell activities and oversee inventory in assigned departments.
• Facilitate inventory audits with department supervisors and support order processing with Purchasing.
• Train new employees and provide leadership, coaching, and performance reviews for team members.
• Maintain safety guidelines on the production floor and ensure adherence to training and procedures.
• Lead recruitment decisions by participating in interviewing and selecting candidates; motivate and develop team morale.
