Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree in STEM or related field required; experience may substitute.
• 0-2 years in a manufacturing/operations environment; automotive experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma principles and PFMEA.
• Hands-on with AutoCAD or layout tools and manufacturing simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process documentation, standard work, PFMEA for engine assembly.
• Optimize plant layout and space utilization.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and transformation projects to eliminate waste.
• Deliver cost-reduction projects spanning labor, material handling, and cycle time.
• Drive Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Support new product/line introductions and process validation.
