Job summary

You will own process documentation, standard work, and PFMEAs, applying Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to cut cycle time, labor, and material handling costs while modeling with AutoCAD and layout/simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to improve manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience on the plant floor with process documentation and PFMEAs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and layout/simulation software.
• Strong data-analysis skills to model processes and support Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain process documentation, standard work, and PFMEAs that keep engine assembly consistent and audit-ready.
• Optimize plant layout and space utilization to improve flow and maximize floor space.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and transformation projects that expose and eliminate waste across production.
• Deliver cost-reduction projects spanning labor, material handling, and cycle time to strengthen operational margins.
• Drive Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives that lift productivity and foster continuous improvement.
• Support new product and line introductions, validating processes before they scale to full production.
• Design safe, ergonomic workstations that reduce injury risk and improve operator effectiveness.
• Analyze make-vs-buy decisions with sound data to guide component and sub-assembly sourcing.
