We are looking for a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will help design, improve, and install the integrated manufacturing systems that bring together people, materials, equipment, and information to keep engine assembly running safely and efficiently. Working hand-on across the plant floor, you will own process documentation, standard work, and PFMEAs while applying Lean tools, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methods to cut cycle time, labor, and material-handling cost. You will pair a working knowledge of AutoCAD and layout/simulation software with strong data-analysis skills to model processes, optimize plant layout and space utilization, and support Value Stream Mapping and new line introductions. Success in this role means turning production data into practical, validated improvements that raise productivity and quality across the operation.
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Basic level of relevant work experience required. 0-2 years in a manufacturing or operations environment (automotive preferred).
