MAT Holdings, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineer with a strong Lean foundation to drive efficiency across production workflows and facility layouts.

You will partner with Plant Management, production, and maintenance to guide improvement initiatives from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, solid hands-on problem solving, and experience with value stream mapping and standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with lean/continuous improvement.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Experience with value stream mapping and line balancing.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Design and test manufacturing processes to meet objectives.
• Assess facility footprint and optimize space usage.
• Identify bottlenecks and plan improvements to throughput.
• Create documentation: flow charts, time studies, standard work.
• Lead Six Sigma/LEAN improvements and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze processes and implement productivity timelines.
• Conduct time studies to set departmental production standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Research new equipment and technologies.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
