Job summary

ALO in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the value stream across inbound, pick/pack, and outbound shipments, while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage a team of up to 100 associates, and partner with clients to meet KPIs. A strong background in LEAN/Six Sigma, data analysis, and Excel is essential; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; HS degree or GED may suffice.
• Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement approaches; certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive Operations management experience.
• Experience leading up to 100 associates.
• Execution-focused and performance-driven.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to client SLA agreements and site-specific quality and fulfillment targets.
• Create and manage day to day operational strategy ensuring the campus operates safely and productively.
• Actively contribute to the development of direct reports.
• Full work week responsibility of client(s) including 2nd shift & weekend shifts.
• Lead Individual Performance Management program for area.
• Plan, prioritize, and communicate shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Interact with clients on operational topics.
• Oversee quality assurance metrics and CI initiatives.
• Deliver performance evaluations and provide feedback as necessary.
• Promote continuous improvement within the value stream.
• Deliver productivity improvements in line with KPIs.
• Own lean process improvement and CI initiatives.
• Organize resources to improve safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Ensure SOPs are up to date.
• Promote a culture of accountability and empowerment.
• Manage on-site seasonal staffing and advise on labor needs.
• Budget management for value stream.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
