Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1.5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of food manufacturing experience.
• Prior experience with lean manufacturing / TPM / Six Sigma skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of operations personnel to manage production flow and meet safety, quality, and cost goals.
• Model company policies and apply them consistently; coach and discipline where appropriate.
• Analyze cost indicators and adjust as needed to improve efficiency.
• Lead or participate in initiatives to improve safety and manage accident trends; handle incident reports.
• Inspect work areas for compliance with food safety regulations and disposition of questionable product.
• Ensure accurate reporting on production and inventory metrics.
• Coordinate on-the-job training and evaluate skill levels of new hires and transfers.
• Train staff in Quality and Safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Promote teamwork and recognize exceptional performance where appropriate.
• Manage the operations improvement process with facilitation and coaching.
