Job summary

Valmont Industries in Farmington, MN is seeking an individual contributor to support Lean teams. You will coach Lean events, manage data, and liaise across teams to remove obstacles and improve processes.

The role emphasizes communication, training, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. The position requires Lean knowledge, ability to present, travel up to 5%, and a lean-related qualification such as an Associate degree or Lean certification.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of Lean principles and methodology.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to speak in front of a group of coworkers or visitors.
• Ability to travel up to 5% annually.
• Lean coursework up to Associate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coach Lean/5S/Standard Work events and coordinate Lean activities.
• Maintain Lean-related measures, records, and visual boards; communicate data to staff.
• Create or update Standard Work and deliver weekly/monthly updates to management.
• Provide Lean training as required; report to Plant Manager.
