Job summary

Novus Foods LLC seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead site CI initiatives, own the OEE framework, and manage the digital performance platform (L2L/Redzone). You will drive data-driven improvements, train teams, and partner with site leadership to align with corporate CI standards.

You will coach operators and supervisors on Lean methods, facilitate Kaizen events, and ensure data integrity across downtime, rates, and KPIs. This is a hands-on role on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated superior Continuous Improvement skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or higher).

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate rollout of CI processes, including training and coaching.
• Maintain CI training program and materials, retraining as needed.
• Build and maintain visual management boards with operators and supervisors.
• Coach and mentor system owners on Lean principles for daily production improvements.
• Own the digital performance platform (L2L/Redzone) configuration, access, and daily use.
• Control data integrity in the platform, including downtime coding and rate settings.
• Own site OEE calculation and explain components at line, shift, and site levels.
• Develop and publish site KPIs such as OEE, downtime, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead structured problem-solving (root cause analysis, PDCA, Kaizen).
• Spend majority of time on the production floor with teams; minimize reporting without impact.
