Job summary

Novus Foods LLC seeks a Continuous Improvement Technician to ensure data accuracy at the line and shifts, maintaining floor standards and visual boards. You will correct data issues at the source and support CI leadership with real-time insights, never re-entering numbers later.

The role focuses on on-floor execution, SOPs, and PDCA actions, with opportunities to advance CI skills under site leadership. Strong attention to detail required; basic Excel and data logging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of production processes, product flow, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and completeness of performance data on lines and shifts.
• Correct miscoded entries at the point of use and report recurring coding problems.
• Coach operators on proper platform use and downtime logging impact on OEE.
• Capture data on lines without digital entry and identify barriers to entry.
• Report discrepancies in OEE components to CI leadership with observations.
• Support daily huddles and maintain visual management boards.
• Draft and maintain standard operating procedures and one-point lessons.
• Support CI events with data collection and time studies.
• Conduct routine floor observations and report improvement opportunities.
