Job summary

Abbott is seeking an experienced professional to design the future state of operations at our Avon, Indiana location. This role drives operational excellence from launch to stabilization within the CRM division and requires hands‑on pharmaceutical/biological process expertise.

The position emphasizes data analysis, Kaizen leadership, and Lean methodologies. You will collaborate cross‑functionally to implement process improvements in a highly regulated distribution environment, onsite daily.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with automation, robotics, goods‑to‑person systems, conveyors, or warehouse execution systems.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, e‑commerce, high‑volume fulfillment, or regulated distribution environments.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design the future state and drive operational excellence from launch through stabilization.
• Implement and maintain pharmaceutical/biological processes.
• Model processes and units operations and develop specifications for processing equipment.
• Conduct tests and measurements to control variables like temperature, density, and viscosity.
• Lead improvement projects and Kaizen events to drive measurable results.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, inventory, quality, and IT to implement changes.
