Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies in Olathe, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to champion the CI system, lead Lean initiatives, and partner with manufacturing, quality, product engineering and customer support to drive cost and process improvements.

You will manage Kaizen events, apply value stream mapping, and develop metrics to monitor gains while maintaining safety and quality across the facility. A Bachelor's degree and Lean experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is required.
• Experience leading CI events and Lean initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI events and initiatives.
• Implement Lean tools and Kaizen events to streamline processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and KPIs for improvements.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to track CI success.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deploy process improvements across the facility.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes and layouts; ensure safety and quality.
