Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. in Michigan seeks a CI Coordinator to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing plant. You will plan, coordinate, and track improvement and capital projects, collect and analyze data, and ensure alignment across CI, Engineering, Quality, and EHS initiatives.

You will apply Lean principles to reduce waste, lead Kaizen events, and report KPI progress, supporting RMS and sharing best practices for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting CI, engineering, or production improvement initiatives.
• Experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with project coordination or technical documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health, safety, GMPs and PPE requirements.
• Assist CI Manager with coordinating improvement and capital projects.
• Collect, analyze and report operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Plan and document Kaizen events and process trials.
• Develop project trackers and timelines for visibility and accountability.
• Lead structured problem-solving using DMAIC methodology.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to align project timelines.
• Develop SOPs and standard work for process consistency.
• Support Lean tools like 5S, Centerlining and CIL.
• Participate in layout reviews, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
• Monitor KPIs and cost savings for leadership reporting.
• Document changes, trials and equipment modifications for Engineering and CI.
• Support RMS sustainment and share best practices for safety and efficiency.
