Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a CI Specialist to support Lean transformation within an assigned department. You will champion change, guide teams, and apply CI tools to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale improvements.

This role works under the CI Manager and partners with plant leadership to sustain gains in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or WCM, and is able to lead kaizen events, analyze

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of college coursework or an associate degree preferred.
• Two or more years working in a manufacturing environment required.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or WCM.
• Prior participation in kaizen or structured improvement events preferred.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Build an employee-engaged work environment and maintain CI measures.
• Facilitate point kaizen and department improvement events.
• Participate as a team member in more complex, cross-functional improvement events.
• Analyze department-level data to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize them.
• Perform and teach root cause analysis using standard problem-solving tools.
• Support productivity pipeline projects within an assigned department.
• Manage multiple defined-scope projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Track project status and escalate barriers and sustainment risks.
