Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc. seeks an intern to support enterprise continuous improvement, learning, and operating system initiatives through administrative, training, and project support.

You will develop tools, dashboards, and content while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen capability development and process documentation. Join a leading energy provider and gain hands-on experience in Lean, performance metrics, and organizational development with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Current Student or higher status; enrolled in a related field.
• Available to work full-time in summer (up to 40 hrs/wk) or part-time during school year (up to 20 hrs/wk).
• Hybrid work policy requires commuting to the designated work location.

Responsibilities

• Create process flows, documentation, standard work, job aids, and training materials.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize data, KPIs, and survey results.
• Create dashboards, trackers, templates, and visual management tools for leaders and teams.
• Assist with design, development, and delivery of learning content and facilitator guides.
• Partner with team members and stakeholders to support project execution and training rollouts.
• Research Lean, organizational development, and best practices to support enhancements.
• Maintain program resources, SharePoint/Teams content, and records.
