Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation's Global Product Development Office (GPDO) is seeking a Product Development Process Intern to support Lean initiatives and AI-enabled tooling across NPDI, ETO, SFA, and design transfer.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to map current-state workflows, assist SOPs, collect performance data, and present actionable insights to leadership while learning how to drive enterprise-wide process improvements at a global scale.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Interest in process improvement, Lean, and digital transformation.
• Curiosity with AI tools and analytics; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives driven by KPIs and leadership priorities.
• Analyze NPDI, ETO, SFA, design transfer, and sustaining engineering processes to identify bottlenecks.
• Apply Lean and Operational Excellence to reduce waste and cycle times.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, reporting, and insights.
• Research new AI technologies to boost productivity and knowledge capture.
• Assist in documenting future-state workflows and SOPs.
• Collect and visualize process performance data for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
