Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor for our Florida sunscreen manufacturing facility. The role focuses on directing shift personnel, implementing lean improvements, ensuring cGMP compliance, and maintaining production records to meet quality and safety standards.

You will lead with a strong emphasis on safety, training, and scheduling labor and/or fulfilling orders, while promoting 5S and continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
• Basic knowledge in principles of liquid filling and/or packaging.
• Good technical understanding of mechanical skills.
• Basic knowledge in SAP and Microsoft office software
• Experience and knowledge or use of Lean principles or techniques.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and guide daily department goals and performance.
• Monitor safety, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain Production Records.
• Develop colleagues to meet staffing needs.
• Ensure SOPs, cleaning and housekeeping are followed.
• Enforce cGMP and Lean 5S rules.
• Manage performance and disciplinary actions.
• Schedule and approve teammate pay and attendance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production Manager, Planning, Engineers on processes.
• Meet quality, safety and productivity targets.
