Job summary

Edgewell is seeking a Second Shift Operations Supervisor for our sunscreen manufacturing facility (Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic). You will lead daily shift activities, support safety, quality, and Lean 5S initiatives, and coordinate with Engineering and Planning to schedule work.

Required are 2+ years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of liquid filling/packaging; night shift and some weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
• Basic knowledge in principles of liquid filling and/or packaging.
• Good technical understanding of mechanical skills.
• Basic knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office software.
• Experience and knowledge or use of Lean principles or techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department personnel with daily schedules and goals.
• Monitor processes to ensure safety, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain Production Records accurately.
• Develop colleagues to meet staffing requirements.
• Ensure SOPs and housekeeping procedures are followed.
• Enforce cGMP and Lean 5S rules in the work area.
• Interface with Production Manager and Planning to schedule and expedite jobs.
• Address safety issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineers on new or improved processes.
